Studio Development
I've been djing and producing electronic music since I was a teen. I stopped djing in 2000 but continue to do produce music, as well as mix together an occassional set from time to time in my basement studio.

Tools - Development process:
- Audacity - record and seperate the samples
- Reason 4.0 - produce the beats
- Audacity - layer everything together and general production.
"The Sound of a Star" - Being an NPR listener myself, the story [+] aired on Feb. 20, 2011 which was a report based on the idea of searching for sounds of life in space. It had a rich sound pallette which inspired me to produce this track.
Spending about 2 hours or so on the track, this is the result:
*in order to properly appreciate the track, you need to have speakers with some decent bass enabled.

Drum and Bass remix of 'Avatar - The Last Airbender: Sozin's Comet - Part 3' - Yes, I like the 'Avatar', fantastic cartoon, best series I've seen since I was a kid, I've watched them all, if only there were more : )
So, in this episode, Aang meets up with a giant lion turtle, who gives Aang advice on how to defeat Sozin, king of the firebenders.
The voice samples are the advice of the giant lion turtle. Sweet episode, without a doubt, mah fav.
